HOUSE RULES

To ensure a peaceful and respectful atmosphere for all, we kindly ask you to observe the following:

Quiet Hours
Please keep noise to a minimum between 11 PM and 8 AM.

External Visitors
In accordance with Moroccan law, no outside guests are allowed in the riad after 6 PM.

Lighting & Air Conditioning
Please switch off lights when returning late at night, and turn off the air conditioner when leaving the room. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. However, during rare extreme heatwaves—when temperatures rise above 40°C and more (104°F+)—the system may struggle to fully keep up.

Breakfast
Served daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. We can accommodate guests for breakfast at 8 a.m. For earlier requests, please confirm by 1 PM the day before if you’d like a breakfast box to go. 

Towels & Linens
To conserve water—a precious resource in Marrakech—we do not change bed sheets or towels daily. A daily refresh is provided. If you still would like a full linen change, just let us know.

Towels & Textile Care
Please avoid using towels for makeup or henna, as these may leave permanent stains. Damaged towels may incur a replacement fee.

Plumbing
Please do not flush pads, tampons, or other items. A bin is provided in each bathroom.

Room Design & Ventilation
Some rooms were traditionally built without exterior windows—a common architectural feature in Moroccan homes to help regulate temperature. To enhance comfort, we’ve added door windows and air conditioners to ensure proper airflow.

Humidity & Summer Conditions
Due to the thick walls and inward-facing layout, humidity can build up, especially during hot summer months. We’ve taken measures to manage this, but if you are highly sensitive to humidity, please consider this when booking.

Summer Insects
During warmer months, it is possible to see occasional insects such as cockroaches—a common reality in Marrakech and across the Medina. This is not a sign of uncleanliness but simply part of life in a warm climate. We maintain high hygiene standards and preventative measures.

Smoking
Permitted only on the rooftop.

Staff Hours
Our team is available daily from 8 AM to 5 PM. After hours, please reach out via WhatsApp. Messages received in the evening and during the night will be answered the following morning.

Feedback & Communication
If you experience any issues during your stay—technical, practical, or otherwise—please speak with Zahra (our manager) or contact the owner directly. We are here to help and will do our best to resolve the matter with care. We kindly ask that you give us the opportunity to troubleshoot and address any concerns before leaving negative feedback. If we fail to respond or resolve the issue, you are of course free to share your experience—but fairness begins with communication.

This is not a hotel.
This is a home—one that offers calm, care, and character. We simply ask for the same in return.
