  • PALAIS BAHIA

    Bahia Palace is a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture and design, built in the latter part of the 19th century by the Grand Vizier Si Moussa. The palace was intended to be the greatest palace of its time and was built to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. The palace is spread over 20 acres with gardens, courtyards, and 150 rooms, only some of which are accessible to the public

    The palace was commissioned by the sultan Ahmad al-Mansur of the Saadi Dynasty in the 16th century.. It was built to be one of the largest palaces in the world and was known for its beauty and prestige. The palace was was designed to be a symbol of the sultan's power and wealth. It was constructed using materials such as gold, onyx, and marble. Today, the palace is in ruins, with only a few walls and structures remaining.
